Why should I worm my pets?

Worms can be bad news for both dogs and humans.

Symptoms in dogs can include:

  • Excessive bottom cleaning
  • Scooting
  • Diarrhoea
  • Vomiting
  • Pot-Belly

These parasites are discreet, that is, they can hide in your pet for a long time before they begin to show signs of infestation, all the while, they are reproducing and shedding eggs into the environment. Often you won’t see worms in the poo until the burden is high.

To help reduce the risk to both humans and dogs, ensure you keep up your pet’s regular de-worming.

Active Ingredients (per tablet):

  • Oxantel Embonate 542mg
  • Pyrantel Embonate 143mg
  • Praziquantel 50mg

How do I treat my pet?
Once they’ve found their way into the gut, parasitic worms will survive by feeding on the contents of your pet’s gut or sucking on your pet’s blood. Left untreated, they can be a serious health risk. That’s why it’s so important to treat your pet at least every three months.

With EcoVet All Worming Tablets, dosage is simple. One Tablet for every 10Kg of body weight. We have even scored the tablets into quarters, to make tailoring doses to your pet’s size easy!

EcoVet All Worming Tablets do not have to be given with food, although, if you struggle with giving your pet their tablet, they can be crushed and mixed with a little wet/canned tasty food.
