THIS PRODUCT IS NOT AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE ONLINE. Please email or phone us for pricing.

Product Details:

Ultravac® Botulinum Vaccine is used to prevent botulism in cattle and sheep.

Key Benefits:

Ultravac® Botulinum vaccine provides protection against both C.botulinum Type C and Type D in sheep and cattle.

Approved Uses:

  • Tens of millions of doses of Ultravac® Botulinum vaccine have been sold over the years. Cattle producers trust the Zoetis brand and have grown accustomed to the high quality and service that Zoetis offers.
  • Ultravac® Botulinum Vaccine has a low 2.5mL dose that reduces required refrigerated storage space and fewer pack changes are needed during herd vaccination.

 Dose Rate:

  • The recommended dose for cattle of all ages is 2.5mL, and for sheep of all ages is 1mL.
  • One dose of Ultravac® Botulinum vaccine is sufficient to confer protection in areas where botulism is endemic but, whenever possible, each animal should be given a second dose of vaccine with an interval of four to six weeks between doses. Thereafter, one dose each year is sufficient to maintain immunity.

 Additional Information:

  • Store at 2°C to 8°C (Refrigerate. Do Not Freeze)
  • It is important that the vaccine is kept properly mixed before and during use.
  • For subcutaneous use only.

Disposal:

Dispose of empty containers by wrapping in paper and putting in garbage. Discarded needles should immediately be placed in a designated and appropriately labelled ‘sharps’ container. Incineration is the preferred method of disposal.

Storage Recommendations:

Store between 2°C and 8°C (Refrigerate. Do not freeze). Protect from light.
